Recuperating at Home

I’m home and recuperating. (Quite a bit of pain, but that is to be expected.)
Surgery was what we expected. We got answers, and understand why it was not originally successful. Mayo Clinic is an amazing place, and exactly where I needed to be. I will be going back several times for re-checks and re-castings. It is going to be a long road, but one that I have to take! I am thankful to Mayo Clinic, my doctor & his staff (more on them in the future), my wonderful, supportive husband Bill, and Andrea. I thank all of you for your support, too.

  1. I'm so glad to hear it went well! Finding answers can be such a relief. my MIL had a near death reaction to something she ate once and no allergy testing could tell what it was. She went to the mayo clinic too, and they worked onto they figured it out.
Take care and get lots of rest!

  2. I grew up in South Dakota and the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota was where everyone went who needed top notch care for tough issues. I know you had to be in the best of hands when I read where you were! I am so glad you are home safely and on the mend. It takes time, but I just know the end result will be worth it. Thank you for taking time to stop by my blog and read my scribbles. Your comments brighted up my Monday!
