De`ja’ Voodoo

The prompt: “Zombies”

De`ja’ Voodoo
History was repeating itself.
Ancient echoes tear hungrily at her soul.
Fear and darkness leave her immobile.
She knows with certainty she will never be free.
Surrendering hope, she is consumed.

  1. This has the making of an interesting kind of spooky story poem I think. I would love to read the next verses and read about when she woke up and the sun was shining through a tiny opening in the curtains…
