"Basho" Tan Renga Challenge

the old pond

the sound of water

crystal droplets glistening
reflecting light of full moon

The first stanza is the famous haiku
“the old pond”, by Matsuo Basho.
The second stanza is my completion
of the Tan Renga challenge #5.

  1. Good day McGuffy what a nice completion of our Tan Renga by Basho. I can feel the old pond and see it in front of me. A mysterious light reflecting in the pond. Wonderfully done. Thank you for this nice post.
And … welcome at Carpe Diem. I am your host there. Hope to see you here again on Carpe Diem.
