Sparks: 17

When I began blogging, it was my intent to post an inspirational thought each Monday. It would be my weekly meditation, and perhaps feed another’s spirit as well. I am inspired by the positive energy of my peers.

The negative energy in the world has become thick and oppressive. Social media has become a part of this dark, negative storm. There is an obvious universal need for more positive energy. And, we can all be part of this affirmative change.

I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!

I hope you will join us, and invite others to join, too. Link up your positive quote, poem,  or inspirational words. Please be sure to add the Sparks badge to your post, so others can find it easily. Peace.

  1. My friend you ARE a light! I love that graphic….it’s perfect. Reminds me of the song I learned in Sunday School a million years ago “This little light of mine – I’m going to let it shine…….” It’s up to US to be the light……and keep on shining. Thank you for your SPARK today and every day my friend.

    Love, Pam

  2. A wonderful spark Annie. With Jesus’ light, we are never left in the dark. There is light for everyone, even the unbelievers. The sun and the moon, fire and even artificial light from the technological age are there so we can find our way in the dark. We sometimes take light for granted.

  8. Ahhh, great minds think alike! I have this quote scheduled to post on my Josie Two Shoes Facebook page on Jan. 31st when the supermoon this month is to be at it’s very brightest. I love your photo, it’s amazing! I think the moon is a wonderful reminder that God’s light is always on for us, shining through the darkness in our lives and in the world. There is always His beacon of hope. This was a wonderful Spark to start the week with, and now I am smiling, my friend! 🙂

    • I love the moon and have always followed it. I find comfort in him. There is always light. I think the strongest one is the light within us, because that is where hope is found.
I took this photograph in Arkansas. I was struck by the moon’s brightness. It seemed perfect for this quote. Wishing you a week of light and joy! Hugs.

  9. Perfect, Annie. Sometimes it only takes a few words to say a whole lot. Thanks so much for starting this hop. I know I have really needed it since the beginning of the new year. Back from vet with Cooper Murphy. I’ll write you about it tomorrow. Love, prayers and hugs, Janet
