Sparks: 18

When I began blogging, it was my intent to post an inspirational thought each Monday. It would be my weekly meditation, and perhaps feed another’s spirit as well. I am inspired by the positive energy of my peers.

The negative energy in the world has become thick and oppressive. Social media has become a part of this dark, negative storm. There is an obvious universal need for more positive energy. And, we can all be part of this affirmative change.

I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!

I hope you will join us, and invite others to. Link up your positive quote, or inspirational words. Please be sure to add the Sparks badge to your post, so others can find it easily. Peace.

  1. Indeed………as others above have said, actions certainly DO speak louder than words. I love that photo too – it’s just SO sweet! Thank you for hosting the Sparks every Monday – it’s such a GREAT way to start our week……………truly.

    Love, Pam

  2. I love that quote. Too many talking the talk but not walking the talk. Excellent.

There is also a lot of Awww here too. So adorable. These two things are the perfect way to start off the work week.

Have a fabulous day, Annie. Scritches to all the babies. ♥

  4. That is an excellent quote and reminder. And what a super photo of Stella and Chloe Jo? Grizelda? I cannot tell. Hope you and Bill and the critters had a great weekend. Sending you lots of love, hugs and prayer, Janet

  5. Best wishes at your new blog spot. You share such encouragement. This is one of my very favorites. We can share our opinions all we want but unless we are doing something about it….nothing changes. You have become a real joy for me to stop by and share. HUGS

  7. I suppose the question would be, does our opinions impact the kind of examples we set for other to see? One thing is for sure, the more positive our attitudes and opinions, the better example we’ll be! Such a precious photo. I just want to sit there and cuddle with them! 🙂

  11. I’m going to join in, I swear! I’m changing a bunch of things on our blog – and that plan includes a Monday Sparks post. I’m working on fleshing out and expanding what I already have – more posts, more social media, more interactions … I’ve neglected too much for too long!
We completely agree with the quote – leading by example is the only way to lead. Yeah, you can sound big and scary leading by rhetoric … but at the end of the day, it’s still just words!

    • I look forward to seeing what you do over there. Just be careful not to spread yourself too thin. Social media…? I am not a big fan. I feel with most things, less is more. Just pick a couple of things, and give it your all. But, that is just me.

I love the picture of Stella and Chloe Jo. Love in action. Chloe Jo loves Stella. She gets up with her and grooms her, kisses her, takes care of her. And Stella always offers Chloe Jo warmth, a place to cuddle. They are sweet, sincere.

  12. I so miss your positive energy and loving heart!! I have encountered quite the opposite over the past couple of months and thankfully… have come out of that dark place still Me. Although I am sure my own steps faltered while in the mud, I still believe exactly as you have so eloquently stated here: our lights should shine. Keep shining! xx
