Sparks: 25

Each Monday, I post a positive quote. This becomes my weekly meditation. I hope that perhaps, it can feed another’s spirit as well.

There is an obvious universal need for more positive energy. The negative energy in the world has become thick and oppressive. Social media has become a part of this dark, negative storm. But, we can change that.

I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. There is hope. Together, we can light up the entire world!

I am a devout realist. It is not an easy world that we live in. I understand that life can be stressful. That is why I believe the only way you can change things is to face them realistically. We all can get frustrated. Sometimes, it feels like we are treading water, and not getting anywhere at all. Other times, we are overwhelmed, feeling it is one thing after another. 

Those are the times that we most need to take a moment to collect ourselves. We need to stop and think. We need to just…breathe. That is how we find our center, and that is where we are able to put things into perspective.

My offering this week is a photograph that I took in Minnesota. Six Mile Lake is nestled in the Chippewa National Forest, adjacent to the Leech Lake Indian Reservation. It is a beautiful place to “breathe”.
