Sparks: 30

I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. There is hope. Together, we can light up the entire world!

In life, one must have a positive attitude in order to ever find happiness. There will be good and bad. The yin and yang, the darkness and the light. The good is easy. It is the bad that often forces us to grow. When it is hard-won, it becomes even more precious.

Sparks is open Monday through Friday each week. When joining, please post a positive quote or inspirational words. Be sure to add the Sparks badge to your post, and link your post to ours here. Namaste.

  3. Very well said. There is good and bad and how we handle the bad makes us much better or much worse. I’ll go with better.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big healing hugs all around. ♥

  7. I do agree with this thought. It’s awfully hard to remember it when feeling more like grit than a pearl! And here’s another thought……just exactly how long does it take for that grit to pearlite?! 🙂 Thanks for the inspiring Spark. I’ve certainly missed linking up these past few weeks.

  8. Annie, this reminds me of what my mom used to say, “You have to suffer to be beautiful.” She’d use that when she was giving me one of those horrid Tonette permanents or cutting my bangs until they were about a half inch long and crooked. I know that’s not what you were intending, but that’s what popped into my head. I know you have lots and lots of grit, and I think your a pearl in the lives of many. How’s Chloe Jo? Sending lots and lots of love, hugs and prayers, Janet
